Hotels.com recently released its annual "Hotel Room Analysis Report," revealing surprising services and amusing anecdotes encountered at over 400 partner hotels worldwide. Hotel staff shared the incredibly varied items guests leave behind. Besides the usual lost and found items like dirty clothes, chargers, cosmetics, and toiletries, this year's "Lost and Found" list included valuable items like Rolex watches, Hermès Birkin handbags, and even a US$6.3 million timepiece. Furthermore, some hotels have found a chick and a pet lizard after guests checked out, both of which were later claimed. The funniest find included a guest leaving behind a complete pair of leg casts, and hotels around the world have frequently found forgotten dentures. Among the most baffling items for hotel staff were rice cookers, car tires, mixers, and construction hoses.
